I will never ever allow the Warlock to schedule our anniversary right before a vacation again. We were married April 23rd 8 years ago. I now know what people mean when the say it seems like yesterday...am I REALLY almost 30? Okay I'm starting to hyperventilate.
Anyway, the Warlock spent our anniversary at work, and I spent the day trying to recover from vacation (laundry, unpacking, grocery shopping, etc.) However #8 is a big deal to me, for how could the silly witch exist without the Warlock?

Happy belated anniversary. We've spent four years of anniversaries like that, but it changes today! Tonight we are celebrating our 5th at a bona fide NYC restaurant. Which also means our first attempt with a babysitter. Cross your fingers that Emma will fall asleep before our late dinner!
