If Only Every Night Could Be Like This

The Warlock made it home for dinner tonight. The kids were starving when they finally sat down at the table, but they were glowing as they heard me tell him about their day. When I was a kid, I had that EVERY night.

Ah, how nice. Dave's hours have improved exponentially since moving to TX, but he's still not home for dinner. It's a hard thing to do when you have a toddler who eats at 5. But how wonderful it is when it actually happens!

We were pretty lucky. I always loved dinner time and it was probably because we sat down with the whole family, and we got to eat!

I love dinnertime with the family, too. I'm so glad that you still get to have it every once in a while

How nice. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy a dinner together.

For now, I'm happy we can at least all eat breakfast together!

What a nice night! Our daddy rarely makes it for dinner also, and usually when he does, he has his hands full of flash cards at the table, so I know how special those nights can be.

I remember an FHE when we asked all the kids to tell us something they liked and something they didn't like about our family. Prudence mentioned that she liked it when we all talked together. That mostly happened at the dinner table. I am glad we got to eat dinner together.
