Ice

Today has been quite an exciting day for my Houston-raised children.  The outdoors has presented them with a couple of treasures.
icicle delights
Pippi's finding these sweet babies all over the play house, fire pit, etc.  And she's preserving them in the freezer.

And look!  It's a pan of frozen water.  Bardo immediately put a car on it.  And then they were interested in eating it.  And then it froze Pippi's hands and she decided to never go outside again.

What's the weather like where you are today?

It's lovely as usual here in San Diego.

My boys were busy collecting icicles for our freezer too. :) They were desperate for some snow, though. Maybe next year.

75 degrees and sunny. Starting to think this moving to California thing was the best idea I've ever had.

Remember when Dad would try and sneak icicles down our backs? Brrrrr....It's snowing/raining here right now. I'm glad I left Billings early so I didn't have to travel through this weather. I couldn't even make it to Noxon this morning because it rained, snowed, then freeze-rained again...as I was leaving for work FOUR ambulances came from the direction I was heading. I turned around and headed back home. I'll wait until noon to see if the roads are any better before attempting the trip again.
