Wanted:  Someone to go on a walk with me and tell me the names of all the trees, flowers, and weeds and pond scum around here.

Today little Boo and I went on a walk off road and off trail.  I found some saplings that I'm tempted to dig up and plant in my yard.  Boo notices everything.  Weeds, flowers, grasses, rocks and sticks are all equally interesting to little Boo.  It's frustrating to me that I don't know their names.  I'm tempted to just make names up so my children can grow up calling them something.  I think you connect to nature better when you know the names of her gifts.
