Flag Football Season--OVER

After a couple weeks of having to force this kid to go to practice, she settled right into the routine of weekly practices and games. As the season drew to a close, I heard her proclaim several times, "I love football. I guess it's just my thing."

This year she learned to run to the huddle:And she learned that sitting the bench is way more fun with a friend:At the "trophy party," the coach commented on the uniqueness of her apparel and that he never knew what to expect her to be wearing, when he presented her the trophy. He must have been thinking of the times she was out there practicing football in a skort and heelies (without the wheel).
