His reasons:
1. It will hurt. (I explained to him that it wouldn't hurt too much because it happens very slowly. And I told him that it will help him to grow painlessly if he eats healthy foods.)
2. He wants to be a teeny tiny baby so that he's not too heavy to carry around.
3. Mommy would hold him lots to keep him from screaming. (Yes, Bardo was that kind of a baby.)

He really was one of the cutest babies...but everyone thinks that about their own, right?

Yes, everyone thinks that about their own, but in Bardo's case I think a lot of people agree with you. I certainly do!!! (And Daphne's and Becca's and Stacy's cases too.)
When I saw him at nine months old, I wcouldn't believe how much he looked like you at that age.
