Dear Stacy,

Bardo asked me today if they have birthdays in Heaven.  I told him I didn't know.  He thinks they must have birthdays, and he's decided to get you a remote control monster truck with butterflies on it.  Would you like that?  I asked him how he thought we could get that package to you.  He said that we would just give it to the mail carrier and that he'd know what to do.  According to Bardo, he has a magic partner that can get a package to Heaven.  I really wish I would have known!  You would have been getting packages all the time.

We all feel so connected to you even though you are not here.  Boo and Bardo remembered you in their prayers tonight.  Pippi the other day cried because she can't remember what your voice sounds like.  Sometimes she says she's tired of being the oldest.  We all look forward to the day when we can be with you again.  This week we remember especially the resurrection of Jesus.   We are so grateful for the Savior who made it possible for us to feel peace, a peace laced with both sorrow and joy, about your passing.

Love you forever,

Mom

the thought of pippi crying made me cry. what a weighty responsibility she must feel, knowing she is not the oldest but she must carry that role. your children are so lucky to have a sister angel watching over them. I can just imagine, and envy a little, the special spirit in your home.

Pippi crying made me cry too. You guys are such a great example of true faith. I know it will be an amazing reunion one day. Until then I love how you keep her memory alive.

What a lovely reminder this Easter season. I am glad that Pippi and Bardo and Boo think of their sister often.

PS. I want to send Stacy a package too!
