Boo's Week

Boo was a pretty good girl this week.  She has decided she doesn't need clothes anymore and she takes all of them off whenever she wants.  She also learned how to unbuckle herself from her car seat.  She colors after the manner of scribble scrabble (Bardo's terminology).  She tried to cut her hair again, but I caught her with the scissors just in time.  She made a trip with me to Costco this week.  The samples helped us get through.  We only forgot one item. She used the potty five times or so this week.  She's perfected the art of the tantrum and is learning to sit in time out.  She wants my attention every second.
She is very smart, very wild, and very very adorable.  She has a couple of chores, emptying the silverware and feeding the dog.  All I have to do is set the utensils out and she sorts them without being told.  I supervise her carefully when feeding the dog because she wants to feed him too much.

Spilling Gatorade all over herself at the swim meet.

What a precious girl. She looks like the warlock in the top picture.

I love the vibe of this post. You wrote it so matter-of-factly, like you just accept that this is the stage boo is in and you're fine with it. some of the things you describe would be enough to push most mothers over the edge sometimes, but you have such a down-to-earth persepctive. I love reading about your children. they are all strong, independent and sweet. you're a good mama, maren.

I just want to give her a giant hug and then run around wildly with her!
